Aluminum Scrap Melting Furnace (ASMF-300-2000)

The SUHATHERM ASMF-300-2000 Aluminum Scrap Melting Furnace — also known as an aluminum remelting furnace — is engineered to remelt production scraps (offcuts) into molten aluminum. Purpose‑built to accommodate varying scrap shapes and scrap impurities, this furnace ensures consistent melting performance while maintaining long term furnace durability, reliability, & low energy consumption.

Construction Details

• Melting rate: 300 kg/hour with holding capacity: 2000 Kg
• Mild steel outer shell finished by heat resistant paint
• Lining with aluminium non-wetting castable (hot face applications) backed up by multi-layer insulation material to ensure low heat loss & low power consumption
• Single gas burner heat source with remote gas train
• Steel structure automatic charging tower equipped with bucket elevator & electric charging hoist
• Automatic charging door actuated by geared motor or pneumatic cylinder
• Manual swing-type sludging & fluxing door
• Remote floor standing type electrical control panel
• PLC wired control circuit
• Microprocessor-based digital indicating temperature controller on melting exhaust, holding chamber & molten temperature control
• Overheat protection system
• Full protection system on charging & burner part
• Specially designed industrial process thermocouple on melting exhaust, holding chamber & molten sensor
• Equipped with molten level detector
