Key Aspects of AMS2750 for Ovens

1. Temperature Uniformity Surveys (TUS)

AMS2750 mandates regular TUS to verify that ovens maintain consistent temperature throughout the heating zone. These surveys ensure that the temperature variation stays within defined limits, typically ±10°F for critical processes.

2. Calibration Requirements

Temperature sensors and control devices in ovens must be calibrated periodically. AMS2750 specifies the calibration frequency and accuracy requirements, ensuring that equipment operates within the defined tolerances and that calibration is traceable to national standards.

3. Thermocouple Management
